"What should I post...?" This is a common concern many people face when they first start posting on social media.
Commerce Media recently hosted an event titled "LinkedIn Utilization Techniques to Grow Your Fan Base! Study Session & Networking Event," focusing on the business social media platform, LinkedIn.
The event took place at "Otsuka Stadium," the event space within Commerce Media's new office, which relocated in January 2026. This was the first in-house event hosted since the relocation, and approximately 25 people attended.
We will share insights into "LinkedIn utilization" that emerged from the event, along with a feel for the atmosphere on the day.
This might be applicable not only to LinkedIn but to all social media management.
*You can find the kick-off report article for Otsuka Stadium here.
Also a renewal event for Otsuka Stadium
This was the first in-house event organized for the "Otsuka Stadium" event space.
Upon entering the venue, the aroma of coffee filled the air.
This time, we served original blend coffee from our own coffee brand, "ILMIIO ROASTERY Lab.."

And guess what! These coffees are original blends conceived by Mr. Seyama, Mr. Atsumi, who spoke at the event, and Mr. Yamada, the moderator.

Although only samples were available at this event, those who tasted the coffee commented that it was "delicious" and "easy to drink." We are also developing individual drip bags for each blend, so please look forward to their completion.

The event began with a casual check-in. Attendees introduced their name, affiliation, and "purpose for coming today" while interacting.
By sharing what they were thinking through their backgrounds and self-disclosure, common ground emerged, such as "I was actually curious about that" and "I feel the same way."
It was a striking moment as the slightly tense atmosphere gradually relaxed.
Something more important than "good posting" on LinkedIn

A common theme among many attendees was "how to continue posting."
This is a point we at Commerce Media deeply empathize with, as we have also experimented with LinkedIn operations while facing similar challenges.
Please check out the recent article "LinkedIn Meet Up!!" held in Osaka, where Yamada, our HR representative, explains tips for Commerce Media's LinkedIn operations.
What I reaffirmed through the event is that LinkedIn is not so much a place to "post with techniques" but rather a place where "how much you have supported others" accumulates.
It was impressive to see how the "total amount of support" naturally manifested in the atmosphere among participants and their interactions on the day.
Now, let's get to the main part. Mr. Tsutomu Seyama and Mr. Kota Atsumi, who regularly post content that attracts many users on LinkedIn, will discuss the essence of LinkedIn operations.
"Personal experience" is conveyed more than "correct information"
(Mr. Tsutomu Seyama)
In Session 1, Mr. Seyama spoke about branding that transforms "knowing" into "liking."
Corporate communications tend to focus on "correct information" such as new services and achievements. However, it is also true that such information alone can be easily forgotten.
What stood out in Mr. Seyama's talk was the phrase that many users are "drawn to people, not information."
Stories based on experience.
A real process, including doubts and trial-and-error.
Such "human-centered communication" generates empathy and builds trust. I strongly felt that this perspective is essential for our own communications as well.
Treat LinkedIn as a "place to build relationships"

(Mr. Kota Atsumi)
In Session 2, Mr. Atsumi introduced the perspective of treating LinkedIn as an "RPG (Role-Playing Game)."
Before pursuing follower counts and influence, first carefully build relationships with those close to you.
Daily actions like likes and comments are not merely functions; they are also "support" for others. As this support accumulates,
・The psychological hurdle for posting decreases.
・You can output with confidence.
・It becomes easier to continue.
Such a positive cycle is created. It was a moment that made us realize once again the importance of viewing LinkedIn not just as a "platform for posting" but as a "platform for nurturing relationships."
Relationships deepen through offline connections
During the networking session after the main sessions, participants engaged in lively conversations.
Although some people were meeting for the first time, it was impressive to see how quickly distances closed as they exchanged words in person.
Small conversations, facial expressions, and the atmosphere of the venue. When these elements are added, recognition transforms into trust.
It was an opportunity to reaffirm the value of creating real-life spaces.
Support circulates and builds into trust

(From left: Mr. Atsumi, our company's Yamada, Mr. Seyama)
What emerged from this event was a very simple truth.
"The total amount of support directly becomes trust."
Beyond posting techniques, it's about how you interact and how you've offered support every day.
That accumulation will eventually return as significant value.
As Commerce Media, we aim to continue valuing the creation of such "spaces where support circulates."
When you're unsure about what to post, start by supporting someone. That first step will surely lead to new connections and opportunities. I hope this event served as such a space.
At "Otsuka Stadium," the event space operated by Commerce Media, we will continue to aim to create a space where many people gather, meet, and inspire each other.
